We are pleased to circulate the new agreed criteria for Endometriosis Centre Accreditation – which will come into effect from January 2026. The Accreditation Criteria includes important information about index cases, case numbers, the use of #ENZIAN staging system and it is important that these are discussed in each centre so that all clinicians are aware of the changes and requirements. 

The presentation ‘2025 BSGE Endometriosis Centres Update’ was given at the ASM in Leeds in May 2025. This has been slightly updated including the stages of deep endometriosis to be included as index cases (A1-3 / B3 / C1-3 / FB, FU, FI). This presentation may be useful in socialising / discussing the new requirements. 

For the rest of 2025 – the existing accreditation criteria apply, except that Exemplar Videos will not be required for fully accredited centres for 2025 (Videos are required for Provisional Centres – with one video per gynaecologist required).
